Days 12-15--30 Days of Thankfulness

So, I kind of dropped the ball this past weekend. I was so busy! Here are my catch-ups!

Day 12- I am thankful for the beautiful weather that the hubs, Petey, Cinnamon, and I were able to enjoy! We went to the park and took a long walk around. The dogs got to meet a new doggy friend and also a few kid friends. We got some exercise, fresh air and some bonding time. :-)

Day 13- I am thankful for my Old Navy job. I love working there. I love the people I work with, the atmosphere, working on register (not so much the boring job of recovering and working on the floor, though!) and the appreciative customers. (There will always be grumps, but I do my best to keep it positive and kind!) I am grateful I was able to get a second job to help out our income and to buy Christmas presents!

Day 14- I am thankful for take-out/delivery food. I know it sounds silly, but sometimes it's just nice to be able to order it instead of cooking. I wasn't feeling so well all day, so I never got around to going to the store to buy some more ricotta cheese to make the stuffed shells I originally planned to make. The hubs has to work til 6 all this week, so dinner was either going to be around 8 (by the time he got home and made it) or we were going to order take-out/delivery. We ended up with a Papa John's pizza. :-)

Day 15- Today I am thankful for my experience in Tour Choir back when I was a college student at Johnson Bible College (now Johnson University.) I was always super busy in college due to high course loads, working as an assistant manager at the on-campus snack bar/grill, student government (senior class vice president,) teaching for my practicum part of my degree (elementary education,) and trying to maintain a social life! Tour Choir did add one more plate to the many I was already trying to balance, but it also kept me sane! I love singing and love traveling! In Tour Choir, I could do both all the while proclaiming the name of Jesus and spending time with some awesome friends and a hilarious and fabulous professor, Mr. Weaver. :-)

Tour Choir ALWAYS opens Festival of Christmas Joy with a song and dance medley!
Singing at Festival of Christmas Joy.
We only wore tshirts once...at this tiny church in Rural Hall.
We did some sign language.
Mr. Weaver, our fearless leader, only directed us on A Cappella songs.

Care to join in on the fun? Create a post each day, sharing one thing that you're thankful for that day! Feel free to grab/post the button on your blog so that others can join in, too!

If you could take 2 seconds and give this a click, it would mean so much to me! Thank you!!
