Hi there and thank you for your interest in having me do a review/giveaway of your product! Before making your final decision about whether or not you'd like me to do a review/giveaway of your product, please let me first explain how everything works.
What is involved in the review process?
When I review an item, I am 100% honest in my review. I offer my experience with your item after I have fully tested it in every way I can think of. I do not believe in giving reviews for items I have not thoroughly tested. Before testing the product, I read any and all instructions that may come with the item. For instance, if I review a cloth diaper, I pre wash and post wash the diaper the exact way that the company suggests. If assembly of an item is required, I follow the directions that come with the product exactly as they state. Following this protocol prevents my own error(s) from interfering with the reviewing process.
When I write a review, I think of the following factors:
1- How was my overall experience with the item?
2- Were the instructions easy to follow?
3- Is the item reasonably priced?
4- What are the pros?
5- What are the cons?
6- Who would I recommend this product to?
While the above list is a general overview of the things involved in the review process, it does not cover EVERY aspect of the review process. Some products require more information in the review, which I will gladly include.
What are the benefits in getting a review from my product?
There are several aspects that benefit your business by having Angela review your product.
1- Publicity!
By having a product review done by Angela's Favorite Things, you are allowing others to get a glimpse into your business that they might not otherwise have had. Readers are able to read about Angela's firsthand experience with your product as well as be linked in to your website, blog, Facebook page, etc.
2- Positive Feedback!
Angela will never harshly criticize, insult, or demean a business or product. If a product is not 100% satisfying to Angela, she will NOT post a negative review. Instead, she will share the highlights of the product and indicate the things that didn't work for her. She will always be fair with her opinion and indicate that while something may not work for her, it may work for other people.
3- Possible increased sales!
As indicated in number one, a review will increase your publicity and possibly your fan base. When a fan base is increased, sales increase. When sales increase, profits increase. A review of a high quality product could easily boost your sales!
4- Product Testing!
If you're a new company who hasn't had many sales OR you are so new that your product isn't widely sold or heard of yet, not only will you be able to increase your publicity and broaden your fan base, but you will be able to get honest feedback about your product. You may find that something you thought worked, doesn't. You may find you're product is perfect the way it is. Regardless of the outcome, when you're first starting out (or even if you own an established business) product testing is always valuable.
5- Free Advertising!
When Angela writes a review for your company, she also grants you one free month of advertising (Emerald Package.) This advertising includes an icon (no larger than 150x150 pixels) located in the left margin of Angela's Favorite Things, that when clicked, takes readers to your business's website. Even if for some reason a reader missed the review, he/she could still come in contact with your business simply by seeing the ad on the main page of Angela's blog.

How do I get my product reviewed?
It's very simple for you to have your product reviewed by Angela's Favorite Things!
In order to get your product reviewed, please adhere to the following steps:
1- Contact Angela via the contact tab.
2- Let Angela know that you're interested in having her review your product. (Please be sure to let her know what the product is!)
3- Fill out the form located here. (When you click that link, it will take you to a Google Document. To put your answers into the blanks, go to File--Download As--Word and it will open the document in a Word document. You can then enter your answers into the second column blanks. After doing so, go to File--Save As and save the file as your business name. Then you just need to email the form to Angela on the email address stated at the bottom of the form!)
4- Send Angela the product you'd like for her to review. (She will send you her address.)
What if I want to do a giveaway as well as a review?
Angela's Favorite Things LOVES to do giveaways! (Giveaways will take place within the same post as the review using Rafflecopter.)
In order to sponsor a giveaway, please adhere to the following steps:
1- Follow all of the steps for getting your product reviewed.
2- Let Angela know you want to do a giveaway along with the review.
3- Provide any specifications for "entries" you wish to make mandatory/optional pertaining to your product. (See below for options.)
4- Send the winner the product promised in the giveaway after the contest is over. (If you cannot send the winner the product, please let me know and it can possibly be worked out for Angela to send the winner's prize.)
What if I want to offer a coupon/discount code instead of/included with a giveaway?
Angela's Favorite Things is happy to offer a discount code to the readers of the review instead of OR included with the giveaway!
In order to offer a discount code, please adhere to the following steps:
1- Follow all of the steps for getting your product reviewed.
2- Let Angela know you want to include a discount code with the review OR with the review AND giveaway.
3- Indicate what the discount is for. (Dollars off, percentage off, BOGO, etc.)
4- Specify how long the discount code is valid.
5- Indicate how a person who reads the review would use the coupon code.
