Day 7--30 Days of Thankfulness
Today I am thankful for my freedom. I am not the most patriotic person in these here United States, but I am so very thankful for the forefathers who believed so strongly in freedom that they sacrificed their privilege lives, favor with the crown, family ties, etc. to go to war at one of the most powerful Earthly entities at the time. I am thankful for those soldiers who fought in the Korean War, the Cold War, WW1, WW2, etc. etc. because of the belief that all people should be free of tyranny. I am grateful for the fact that the Union soldiers won the Civil War so that all people, no matter what color, could be free. The USA has it's own current issues, a shady past, and two powerhouse wings of government that can't get along for the sake of the people no matter what, BUT I am so grateful to live here in the United States and to be FREE!
Care to join in on the fun? Create a post each day, sharing one thing that you're thankful for that day! Feel free to grab/post the button on your blog so that others can join in, too!

Please don't forget about the current giveaway going on! It ends TONIGHT at 12:01am!
If you could take 2 seconds and give this a click, it would mean so much to me! Thank you!!
