I started a tradition when my kids were little of buying one hardback Christmas book each year. I tried to match it to something they had done or enjoyed the previous year. We have a huge stack now, but they are teens and don't have much interest in picture books. Both of my kids adored 'The Nutcracker"-I used to have to hide it after Christmas or I would end up reading it all year!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea! I think we might have to do that when we start having kids! I am 26 years old, and I still love picture books! Hopefully, they'll find an interest in them again when they have kids! ;-)
