12 Days of Christmas--Day 11--Christmas Books

Today is the 11th day of Christmas here at Angela's Favorite Things! Today's topic is Christmas books!  Reading has always been one of my favorite things to do! Growing up, we had the tradition in my family where my mom read The Polar Express to us on Christmas Eve. I love that book! I hope to carry on a similar tradition when the hubs and I have kids one day!

Here a few of my favorite Christmas books...

1. The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg

2. The Crippled Lamb by Max Lucado (My sister Hannah ADORED this book when she was little.)

3. The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore (This version was my favorite growing up! I loved Little Golden Books!)

4. Cosmic Christmas by Max Lucado

5. The Candymaker's Gift: Legend of the Candy Cane by Helen and David Haidle

Do you have any Christmas books to share today? Be sure to link back to this post and leave a comment letting me know that you did! I'd love to check out the books you posted!

  1. I started a tradition when my kids were little of buying one hardback Christmas book each year. I tried to match it to something they had done or enjoyed the previous year. We have a huge stack now, but they are teens and don't have much interest in picture books. Both of my kids adored 'The Nutcracker"-I used to have to hide it after Christmas or I would end up reading it all year!

  2. I love that idea! I think we might have to do that when we start having kids! I am 26 years old, and I still love picture books! Hopefully, they'll find an interest in them again when they have kids! ;-)
