Just an FYI: We totally LOVE and appreciate that SOOOO many people care about us and want to know where we are with our fostering to adopt journey. I PROMISE that as soon as we hear from our social worker about our application, THE WHOLE WORLD will know! (Well, at least our whole world will know!) Thanks for loving us and wanting to be a part of our journey!
Sadly, we have no new news to share. There are only 4, yes FOUR, people in the entire state of NC (100 counties) that read through and can approve/reject foster care applications. They do a very thorough and good job in the review process, which is why it takes so long! We have no doubt we will be approved, though! We are hoping it is any day now, but it could, in all reality, be next month until we hear anything! Thanks for hanging in there with us! Keep on praying!
