Spring Has Sprung?

Hello Spring!
We have missed you terribly here in NC, although, I do believe that those living in more northern states miss you more. You should go pay them a visit, too. Winter brought us a TON of snow for our area back in December and a little into January. It was actually shocking to us just how much snow since we are used to only a few inches throughout the enter time Winter visits with us. We are very grateful that you decided to visit us earlier this year than you have in the past several years. Does this mean Summer will be visiting us earlier this year as well, or are you prepared to stay a little longer than you normally would?

Xoxo,
Angela

In all seriousness, it sure does appear that Spring has sprung around here. The hubs and I visited a local park the last two weekends and walked the trails with our dogs. They LOVED it as much as we did! The first week we were there I saw crocus. For those of you who don't know, crocus bloom at the very beginning of Spring. The following week, the daffodils were in full bloom. Daffodils are also early bloomers for Spring. We've already had a couple of incredibly windy days as well as some pretty intense thunderstorms. It's rained three out of the last 5 days. The hubs mumbled the other day that he's going to have to mow the lawn much sooner than he anticipated. Yup. Spring has spring around here, and I like it!

Since it is raining yet again today, I've decided to make this whole rain gear display a two parter. Yesterday was rain boots and umbrellas. Today, I bring you raincoats! Enjoy!

I'd love a funky raincoat to wear! Does anyone these days (that isn't a child or an older lady) actually own a raincoat? If so, please let me know and link a picture if possible! I'd love to see it!

  1. AMEN on Spring coming!!

I hope and pray Keevia potty learns easily! ha! It shocked me to say the least that she peed in the potty!

That is so crazy that you go to church with Matt, Patrice and Jonah! I began following her blog not very long after he was born when they called for prayer for him on various blogs. Such a sweet heart she has! And I adore his sweet, sweet face!

Thanks for the follow! I followed you back! Did you find me on the Playdate Crashers? I went to the same college as Krista and Jamie but didn't know either of them really (I think they graduated before me) but then I worked for Krista's husband while she was pregnant the firs time... and oh, the joys of facebook, added her! We click on a lot of parenting things!

  2. I did find you on The Playdate Crashers! I am not a mother yet (the hubs and I are trying, but I'm so irregular it's difficult) but I am nannying, so I try to keep up with things to help me be a better nanny! Plus, it's a good way for me to be extra prepared for when I am a mommy!
