My best friend's wedding is coming up in May. Guess what will be decorating the aisle as we walk down? Yup. You guessed it. We're makin' flowers baby! She is working on doing straight cut 4x4 flowers. I am doing scalloped cut 6x6 flowers. The variety is gorgeous! Each flower only takes a couple of minutes to make. I plan on making some, adding some floral wire, possibly some floral tape, some leaves, and some ribbon and putting them in a vase. Has anyone else made these? I highly recommend them! They're super easy and very fun!
Here are a couple I made!
Can you tell me how to mount these on a stem?! thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi there!
DeleteWhat I did for the ones I made for my best friend's bridal shower (which now reside in my grandmother's family room) I used pipe cleaners for the stems. After rolling the flowers, I put a dab of glue into the hole from the bottom so it secures the most inner portion of the flower to the outside and at the same time, I put the pipe cleaner in through the top and have the glue fuse all three portions together. Does that make sense? I just messed with it until I got it to work the way I wanted it to and what worked for me. You can try it my way, or you might just want to mess with yours and see what you can come up with! Good luck!
